Anyone still out there?

So the itch to play FF again hit me a few hours ago, and I was wondering if there are any forums/chats/communities still around. I've spent the last hour combing through all my old haunts, and everyone seems to have left for greener pastures.

Playing is pretty much pointless for me, seeing as I cannot land on anything but a bum server with no buddy list and even fewer players. I've loaded up all my nostalgic gear from the bank and have deposited my character on that dinky little dingy on the outskirts of Bravo Beach. Though I anticipate the end is nigh, when that unknown someone upstairs does finally pull the game's plug, I want my trusty avatar to at least have the dignity of going out in full regalia.

I tried all of the old forums, and all I've found are scarce few role players.

Could someone tell me the state of the game's economy? Bugs? Significant happenings? I'm curious.

all bugs are same since ended (crash, chat issues ect...) economy has gone nuts people hacked taros like crazy value of taro at this point is almost nothing hackers all over the place it ain't good XD

Haha. Oh well. All those things give FF a certain charm, I guess.

Still no word from the development team? I checked the site, and it looks like we've gone almost two years with no patch...

lol yup currently petition going on to ask devolpers to start patching game again not sure its going work but worth try

I remember hearing about that a few months ago! I signed the petition, but haven't heard anything definitive about the project since. I've heard hearsay that it's still going, and I've heard hearsay it's been sacked.  I don't suppose there's anyone out there with the answer?
