-Ash popped en garde and his claymore slammed Marceline out of the way, he then resorts to pelting the vampire queen with energy spheres-

I'm not going to hurt you, that much. But I need to be still until I can get that core off of your forehead.

-Marceline blocks each energy sphere and is pushed back slightly with every sphere that hits her. That is, until she picks the habit of parrying them. While she is busy with it, Ash'a claymore flies and clocks her from behind the head, further irritating Marceline.-

I guess it's time to bump it up a notch.

-The green glow of Ash's eyes returns and Ash's arms begin to move in flashes as a barrage of small green energy spheres are thrown at Marceline. Ash's motions never ease and eventually the sphere output becomes too great for Marceline to continue parrying, leading her to be pummeled repeatedly by the spheres. The repeated force pushes her into a wall, where Marceline crashes painfully. She stops for a second as soon as Ash stops with his barrage, but a few seconds later she is back to hissing and eailing, recovering from the damage, prompting Ash to pummel her again-

No, you have to stay down. No way I'm letting you back up.

-In Zoey's nightmare, Doctor Holiday had found her next to Silver's corpse with a look of shock upon her face-

Holiday: How...how did this happen?

-Zoey crossed her arms as she kept her head down and as tears continued flowing down her cheeks. She spoke in a trembling voice and rubbed her arms, smearing the blood on herself without noticing-

I...I thought I could help him. This was only supposed to cause him a little bit of pain, not...not kill him.

-In reality, Holiday had Samurai Jack and Evelyn aid her and Drak in moving Silver and Zoey back to their makeshift hospital rooms. The researcher shook her head in disgust at the fact that there had barely been any peace for anyone even though Nathaniel was currently out of commission as well-

-The relentless and powerful Marceline continued to be blasted, but otherwise ate up anything Ash could throw at her. Ash, however, was still closely following his game plan, and just as he flailed several more spheres at Marceline, just as his claymore got busy-

Strike.

-The claymore flies directly at Marceline's forehead, directly attacking the core on her forehead. However, upon impact, a large shockwave is emitted, sending Ash and his claymore flyin back considerably.-

Oww. Okay, so this one's gonna be a hot harder than that.

-Drak and Holiday were now taking great care of Silver and Zoey by pumping pain relievers into their systems and cleaning up other minor wounds as best as possible. What concerned both was that their was no strong indicator of darkness radiating from Silver like their usually was, and Zoey was still experiencing her nightmare-

Holiday: What could have possibly happened to these two...?

-Evelyn had tagged along and she was now popping in and out of both rooms occupied by her friends. She soon took off in search of Ash, wanting to make sense of the events which had taken place-

/Alice and Rex had been tight on Holiday's heels through the endeavor, the evo having to be sat down to rest his injuries while his soon-to-be wife hovered and watched the researcher working on Silver and Zoey/

/Alice/: They'll be ok though? Right?

-Holiday sighed before looking up from working on Silver-

Holiday: I really don't know, Alice. They both took pretty big hits after already being wounded severely from the rescue operation. Silver needs more of his darkness, and Zoey needs to restore her energy and wake up.

-Evelyn was going up and down the halls as fast she could, when she heard all of the commotion coming from her left side. She headed in that direction and found Ash fighting against the core-possessed Marceline-

[Sharpshoot]

-The possessed Marceline has Ash pinned down against the floor all the while trying to bite his throat off. Ash does his best in holding her back by pushing the side of his claymore against her neck.-

Dam it Marceline, stop trying to bite my whole dam indentity off of me and stay still so I can painfully extract that core from your forehead!

-Ash grunts as the struggle is real-

[Makastar]

/Alice/: I can use my abilities to heal them. I can do that and-.

/Rex/: I don't know if even that will help them. Whatever is going on is affecting them greater than even your powers as an angel can touch.

/Alice/: But if I don't try...

[Silver Kid]

OT: Zoey has asked me to post for Evelyn so for the time being ill do that.

-Evelyn reached the room and saw the struggle between Ash and Marceline. Evelyn barely thought, grabbing Marceline by her shoulders and pulling her off Ash, throwing her into a wall-

OT: alright alright alright - Matthew McConaughey

-Ash tries his best to stand back up, and does so successfully. However, he uses his claymore for support.-

Hey, thanks for the spot Evelyn. But you might wanna watch out for that.

-Ash says and right after that, pelts an energy sphere right at Marceline's face, who was inches away from biting Evelyn in the throat.-
